Most of our lampshades are made of 100 percent pure China silk in a variety of colors, some of which are shown here. The delicateness of the China silk fabric works best for all of our pleating and smocking styles. The silk pongee samples and the linens are ideal for flat-covered shades or pleating, but they are too thick for smocking.

The samples shown are the colors we use most often and that blend well with most decor schemes, but many other colors are available. Please contact us if you do not see a color that matches your decor or if you need a sample sent to you.

We also allow customers to provide their own fabric. So if you have extra fabric remaining from a custom drapery or bedding project, use it on a custom lampshade in the same room. It really customizes the decor of a room.
